Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
The founding vision of Swami Sahajanand Mahavidyalaya was to ignite the flame of higher education within the rural heartlands of Chas-Chandankiyari and the displaced regions of Bokaro. Our goal has always been to empower the most vulnerable sections of our society—including the tribal communities, the underprivileged, and the marginalized—providing them with the tools to shape their own destinies. Today, having navigated a journey of perseverance and growth, our college stands firm in its commitment to the holistic development of our students and the realization of their limitless potential.
Strategically located on National Highway 32 and established in 1984, we are a government-aided institution permanently affiliated with the Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University (BBMKU). We take pride in our academic credentials, holding recognition from the UGC under sections 2(F) and 12(B) and being accredited with a Grade 'B' by NAAC.
My continuous endeavor is to cultivate a robust and disciplined academic environment that not only enhances knowledge but also builds character. We have modernized our campus to support this vision, featuring a digital library, a dedicated women's hostel, common rooms, and a well-equipped seminar hall for hosting national-level symposiums and workshops.
Embracing the spirit of "Khelo India, Padhega India, Badhega India" (Play India, Study India, Grow India), we provide extensive facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports. To ensure a secure and professional atmosphere, we have implemented biometric attendance for staff and comprehensive CCTV surveillance across the campus.
As I shoulder the responsibility of this esteemed institution, I am dedicated to channeling our educational efforts toward the service of our nation.
